The Institute of Social Sciences was established with the enactment of the Law No. 5662 on the “Amendment of the Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions and the Decree Law on the Staff of the Academic Staff of Higher Education Institutions and the Annexed Tables to the Decree Law on the General Staff and Procedure”, published in the Official Gazette dated 29/05/2007. Our Institute started its activities by accepting students for the first time in the Fall Semester of the 2011-2012 Academic Year, with the aim of providing postgraduate education and training.
